Batting Cage Information

Dan's Sports Center has 10 indoor batting cages. Each cage is 12 feet wide by 12 feet high and 70 feet long.


Eight instructional cages are available by reservation only.

These cages must be reserved in 30 minute increments. To make reservations, please use the "Reservations" link to the left. Cage rentals are $40.00 per hour or $20.00 per half hour.

  • All outfitted with L's
  • In addition they will have either an Atec Casey* pitching machine or a Jr Jugs* Machine
  • pitching speeds of 65-80 mph
  • use REAL baseballs and softballs

Two cages are "Come and Hit".

  • Outfitted with "Iron Mike *"
  • use REAL baseballs and softballs
  • $10.00 for 15 minutes

Cage Configurations

  • Cages 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are outfitted with mounds.
  • Cage 3 is softball with Iron Mike.
  • Cages 2 and 4 are outfitted with Iron Mike or automated.

Our pitching machines can do slow pitch softball allowing an 11-6' arc when pitching the balls.

Iron Mike Pitching machine graphicHitting is all about timing. You must have the proper timing to know when to start your swing and when to shift your weight. This is achieved by watching the pitcher's arm and release of the ball. An arm-style pitching machine is the only type of pitching machine that gives you that same sense of timing. With each pitch you see the machine's arm wind up and release the ball. It is the realistic nature of the machine that allows you to practice the same fundamentals in the batting cages as you use on the field. Iron Mike is ideal for team use. It throws pitches at 25-85 miles per hour.



Atec Casey 2 Combo Machine *

The workhorse of the ATEC lineup, the Casey 2 pitches baseballs and both 11" and 12" softballs up to 60 mph for baseball and 55 mph for softball. Casey 2 Pitching machine graphicBuilt for throwing consistent and accurate pitches, the Casey 2 features a precision high performance polyurethane wheel, welded steel construction, "V" groove pinch pad, variable speed control and a powder-coat finish. Fielding practice with the Casey 2 is easily accomplished with the elevation locking handle.

Jugs Jr. - Combo Machine *
